This book is a gathering of thoughts from a Fisherman, a Follower, and a Failure; a Faithful, Forceful, Factual, Fiery personality. It is about the book of Peter. I hope you will delve deeply into, examine and reflect on the many writings that Peter has to share.

Forgiveness originated in the heart of God toward us; so compelling is its realization that it is virtually impossible for a Christian not to become obedient in forgiving others. As we view Acts 24:16 we can see how the Apostle Paul comprehended this message. “In view of this, I also do my best always a blameless conscience both before God and before men.” His desire was to bring every thought and action into subservience to Jesus Christ. What I see in Christ should be seen in me… that is genuine reflection.
While Corinth was a church obviously fraught with problems because they failed to utilize the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this booklet is to awaken thinking toward the leading of the Spirit of God who has been given to us.

Profound Biblical truths are often found in the simplest experiences of life. Therefore, I have endeavored to apply these to my own personal life. A teacher friend used to say to her students, “use your think tank”. It reminded me of the portion of Scripture found in 1 Timothy 4:15, “Think on these things”. Another translation puts it, “Meditate on these things”. Slow down to check on what you’ve missed in your “haste”; chew it over and apply it to everyday living. With this in mind, we are hopeful that God will use these illustrative experiences to assist us not only to “consider Him”, but to fix our gaze on Him. (Hebrews 12:2)
