Some years ago I encouraged our congregation to memorize Song of Solomon 2:15… “Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, while our vineyards are in blossom.” I had picked up the idea in some of my studies.
Selfishness … Spoils love
Discontent … Spoils joy
Anxious thoughts … Spoils peace
Impatience … Spoils longsuffering
Bitter words … Gentleness
Indolence … Spoils Goodness
Doubt … Spoils Faith
Pride … Meekness
Love of Pleasure … Spoils Temperance
Together we can lock on to these things and grow immeasurably!
