THE TREE OF LIFE

I have often wondered what it would have been like to walk through the confines of the Garden of Eden.

I have been privileged to visit some beautiful gardens across the United States, and some in other countries.  Then, there have been some that were not under sponsorship, just natural growth.  I certainly will not forget the garden of lilies that my father planted and grew in a garden on a plot of land across from our home.  I can not only see them in my mind, but the fragrance can be recalled in a moment’s notice to the brain.

I have often wondered what it would have been like to walk through the confines of the Garden of Eden.  I especially would love to have seen what the Tree of Life looked like.  There is promise that in the future within the New Jerusalem there will be The Tree of Life!  Think of that fruit and it will tantalize your taste buds.

“Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street.  On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.  And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 22:1-5)

WHAT A SCENE!   What a scene!  What a scene!!!  I am going to behold it in all its beauty.  Adam and Eve’s garden will not compare with it.  Try to behold “the TREE OF LIFE!”  Imagine what the fruit will be like; always different, but always positively fresh.

A garden, filled with these things, but more–The presence of the Lord Jesus Christ!
